found out about this guy thru his association with Pile Of Heads & Void Wanderer & the Underground Rituals comp. and I'm SO glad I did! this is their first e.p. and it's concept and execution explodes deep & wide! seriously, this is fantastic Black Metal. I immediately grabbed the entire TATTVA catalog.

Naxen is a German trio playing classic "Norwegian" style BM with doom passages, which in my opinion adds a twist to the oh-so-stomped-chosen-path of the so-called 2nd wave black metal horde. It's almost too slow at times for me, but I can really appreciate the technical prowess from these relatively new guys. The second part, I agree, is where they really stand out! Weiter so!
